Casona Rosa is a wonderful place. I recently stayed there with my family - 2 grandmothers, 2 parents and 3 children. Rose, the owner, couldn't have been more welcoming. It's a great location - just a few blocks from the Cathedral, other churches, museums, restaurants and shopping. Each room is different and beautifully decorated with Mexican art. I wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy all the amenities. We had a very early morning flight home and Rose provided beautiful fresh fruit and popcorn to take with us.

A delightful stay at Casona Rosa, a fab place" I just recently had a delightful stay at Casona Rosa B&B in Morelia, Mexico. What a treat! As soon as you enter Casona Rosa B&B you are greeted with eye-popping vibrant colors and unique motifs of traditional Mexican Art. The rooms are comfortable and artfully decorated. The ambience is warm and friendly. A really cool feature of Casona Rosa B&B is the rooftop terrace, a place to relax, read, sip your coffee while enjoying the spectacular view of the city of Morelia. Rose is a gem! She greets you and makes sure your visit is enjoyable. She is friendly and fun. I was lucky enough to meet a very cool band from Mexico City that was staying at Casona Rosa B&B, they invited all of us to join the party they were playing. So much fun. I recommend a stay at Casona Rosa B&B if you want to know Mexico and Morelia.

Casona Rosa was a fantastic find. It’s right in the middle of the historic section of Morelia and walking distance from everything. Casona Rosa is clean and cosy, and the decor is colourful and gorgeous. The room I had was generous, had a great bathroom with good shower pressure. The owner, Rose, is a gem and was full of local knowledge and seemed to know everyone in town! If you’re staying more than a couple of days I would recommend going on a tour with Ruben, who was delightful company and took me all over Morelia — very good value!

Much more than just a B&B. Bravo! Bravo! Bravo! Casona Rosa is truly one of the most authentic, heart-filled B&B's I've ever visited. Located just a few blocks from the town center, in a Colonial home, this place is comfortable and welcoming -- and the owner, Rose, is the icing on the cake! Rosa, as the locals call her, is originally from Chicago, and has been imbedded in the city of Morelia for 20 years. She's an encyclopedia (or shall I say, google-search) of all things Morelia, and Mexico. From the history of the city, to the best restaurants and museums, Rosa knows best! I highly recommend this B&B! -

A great home base and wonderful host for your visit to Morelia. While the facilities and location are wonderful, the best part about Casona Rosa is Rosa. She is a wonderful resource and a very fun host for Morelia. She is an American who has lived and ran her business in Morelia for many years, so she has connections and recommendations that make your stay much more enjoyable and easier. The Casona itself is full of beautiful things - art, books about the area, interesting local furniture, etc. It’s a 6-8 min walk to the main plaza with really good restaurants. Mexico can present certain challenges for visitors and it’s very helpful to have both a comfortable home base and a knowledgeable and gracious host to help you get the most out of your visit. Thank you Rosa!

My partner and I had an amazing stay at casona rosa. Your host Rose is amazing and super helpful if you are looking to relocate. She has a wealth of information to share. I will definitely stay at the B&B again while I fully transition to Morelia.
